I am 100% Irish and I love March 17th. Our parents always let us take the day off from school if we wanted. Often we headed into NYC where dad worked as a cop to the big parade and a few years I even participated in the parade! (Music and Irish Dance). It is a challenge to find places to celebrate in Los Angeles. This holiday is a much bigger deal on the east coast. I think next year I may head to NJ to celebrate with famliy 🙂

Walt Disney was a frequent patron there. It is rumored that the architecture of the Tam helped influence building design on the Pinnochio ride at Disneyland.
