My pick of the week near Hancock Park – in Country Club Park

My house pick of the week near Hancock Park… A Realtor friend of mine (met on a crazy deal last year!) has a great Spanish listing in Country Club Park which is south of the Hancock Park area, technically in Koreatown. This area has a low-key HOA and I was fortunate enough to be invited to some of their community gatherings in the past because I volunteered my photography skills for their yearly calendar. This house is pretty urban – in a good way. World Famous "El Cholo" Mexican Restaurant is around the corner on busy Western Ave. and some small businesses and lots of apartments. This is listed in the mid $900’s – probably should have started a tad lower.  It is hard for me to wrap my brain around homes in this area with 3 beds & 2 baths over $900k. This was purchased for $716k last May.

Best features include dark hardwood floors, Batchelder fireplace & detached 2-car garage gated from the street & very hip staging.   New roof, electrical, plumbing & HVAC. Modern amenities & authentic charm = the best of both worlds!
