Let’s squeeze out as much summer as we can!! Here are my picks for the top events in LA in August:
Twilight Concert Series at the Santa Monica Pier
Grab a blanket, a cooler, and 15-20 or your closest friends and head on over to the Santa Monica Pier for annual summer Twilight Concert Series! The popular concerts take place every Thursday through Aug. 17th, and best of all- they’re completely FREE! The music starts at 7pm, but you may want to get there early as the pier can get crowded… VERY crowded. In fact, most of the crowds watch from below the pier where the surrounding sands turn into one huge beach party! See the full lineup at http://santamonicapier.org/twilightconcerts/
When: every Thursday at 7pm through Aug. 17th

Parking: Limited (paid) parking on the pier, however it’s a great opportunity to try out the newly completed Expo Line stop just a stone’s throw from the pier!
