My house pick of the week in Los Feliz

My house pick of the week in Los Feliz…   So, after viewing a few homes on caravan today in Hancock Park, I had enough time to head north to Los Feliz, less than 2 miles away.  This home is in a gated exclusive neighborhood called Laughlin Park. The community has about 60 homes with varying architectural styles from English, Mediterranean and Craftsman to Traditional and Modern.  The secluded area is home to some rich and famous actors and film makers. ( I’m not saying any names!)

So the UNIQUE thing about this property is that IT IS SO WHITE, my eyes hurt the entire time (and still do 5 hours later)! If it wasn’t 99 degrees outside, I would have gone back to my car for sun glasses. I actually toured the home quickly and had to leave because 90% of the house is WHITE on WHITE on WHITE. It doesn’t even look good. White grout with white tiles gets ugly fast! Thank God for some light wood in the living room. Also, the movie theater is lovely and gave my eyes a much needed break. I am always jealous when there is a movie room! This sale will take a unique buyer. 1961 De Mille is listed just under $5m and was recently renovated. For $5m, they could have turned the AC on today!
