How I am feeling about the current market…

I attended a Mastermind session last night for the top 10% agents in our office. Most, but not all of us, are feeling a shift.  Personally, my opens have been a little quieter than normal in both Lachmont and the Hollywood Hills. Some agents chalk it up to it being summer, but as I look back over the last 15 years, I have only really been quiet in August! LA is usually empty in August as people are squeezing in a last minute vacation. I always suggest an owner wait until September if they can’t get their house in June. December would be the next slowest month. However, if I were a buyer right now, you may have a better chance at actually getting an offer accepted! Mortgage rates have ticked up and we are expecting another increase this year. A more balanced market would not be so terrible…
