My Favorite November Events in Los Angeles (Part II)
Here are some more of my favorite events happening in Los Angeles this November!
LA Zoo Lights
Come be nocturnal at the LA Zoo! The annual LA Zoo Lights are back this month to entertain children and adults alike with eye-popping LED displays and colorful light shows. Once the animals are put to bed, visitors are welcome to walk the zoo pathways and take in the habitats, which are now decked out in thousands of dazzling lights and moving projections. Kids may even get the opportunity to see real, live reindeer up close and even have their picture taken with Santa Claus. Jackalope Indie Artisan Fair
The Jackalope Indie Artisan Fair comes to the heart of Old Town Pasadena this November for a weekend of shopping and entertainment. The fair features over 200 local, hand-selected artisans, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts, as well as numerous workshops and activities for all ages. Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Celebration & Fireworks
Every year, Beverly Hills kicks off the holiday season with the annual Holiday Lighting Celebration along the iconic Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverly Hills. This year, the festivities begin on Thursday, November 16 at 5:00pm. The show will be hosted by Vanessa Lachey, with entertainment by singer/songwriter, Robin Thicke, and culminates with a dazzling fireworks display over Rodeo! Come enjoy offerings from various food trucks and enjoy taking holiday photos in Rodeo Drive’s newest artistic photo installation! Want more holiday lights? 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade
2017 marks the 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade- the largest Christmas celebration in America. This year’s Grand Marshal for the parade is none other than TV’s Dr. Oz, while the parade’s telecast will be hosted by Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain and Montel Williams, with special co-hosts Elizabeth Stanton and Garrett Clayton. The parade itself features Floats, giant balloons, costume characters, bands, equestrians and celebrities as well as live musical performances (to be announced) that will take place on two stages; benefiting The Marine Toys For Tots Foundation. . The 86th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade will premiere on television as a two-hour special on The CW Network on December 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET / PT, repeating on the Hallmark Channel. When: Sunday, November 26th 2017 at 5:00 PM
(The concert, for ticket-holders, starts at 5pm and the parade just after 6pm)
Where: From the Heart of Hollywood! Starting on Hollywood Blvd. at Orange Drive the U-shaped parade route will travel east to Vine, south on Vine St to Sunset Blvd. and west on Sunset Blvd. back to Orange Drive.
